This gorgeous summer wedding at Staunton Harold Hall was filled with calm moments, family warmth, and thoughtful personal touches. Even so, the cloudy skies wrapped everything in a soft, timeless glow. Gentle light, natural tones and that classic English countryside atmosphere made the whole day feel beautifully serene

Getting Ready at Home

The morning started quietly at the bride’s family home, where the girls were getting ready together. The mood was relaxed and full of giggles. Meanwhile one bridesmaid even sat happily snacking on marmalade toast in between hair and makeup! It was such a simple, sweet moment that summed up the easygoing vibe of the morning.

Flowers, Colour and Family Details

The florist created the bouquets, while the homegrown blooms were used throughout the church and later at Staunton Harold Hall. As a result, the colours flowed beautifully from morning to evening. The bright, handmade orange bridesmaid dresses, lovingly sewn by the bride’s mum, brought a cheerful pop of colour against the soft summer light. The flowers looked especially beautiful in the grounds surrounding the hall — a place that always creates such inspiring Staunton Harold Hall wedding photos.

A Majestic Ceremony at St Helen’s Church, Ashby-de-la-Zouch

The couple held their ceremony at the beautiful St Helen’s Church in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Inside, the tall stone walls and soft light created the most peaceful atmosphere. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by friends, family, and some of the most stunning floral decorations — all arranged using flowers grown at the bride’s parents’ allotment. The personal touch made the whole space feel alive and meaningful.

Celebrating at Staunton Harold Hall

After the ceremony, everyone made their way to Staunton Harold Hall, a stunning country house that always feels grand yet welcoming. Later, the cloudy weather gave the photos a soft, romantic tone. We used the grounds at Staunton Harold Hall, which provided the perfect backdrop for portraits and candid moments throughout the day. I always love photographing weddings at Staunton Harold Hall. The space has such a calm, elegant flow that suits natural photography beautifully.
